Basic FTP > RSS > Miro Distribution method

Here's a recap:
1. Get a website at 1and1 or Dreamhost ($10 or $20/mo will get you plenty of space and bandwidth)
2. Setup a Blogger blog - use the advanced setup to put the blog files on your webserver.
3. Get an RSS feed with Feedburner.
4. Consider compressing videos using the AppleTV setting (it's H.264/mp4) to greatly reduce the file size. It's a good idea to change the file extension from .m4v to .mp4. You can later make a DVD or mpeg2 file from these AppleTV files and it will still look great.
4. Use an ftp program like Cyberduck or Filezilla to put your video files on your webserver.
5. Make a new blog post with a link to a video file. Remember to do one post for each file.
6. Tell people to subscribe to the RSS feed with Miro and they'll get all the videos automatically.

SpinXress Test Group

If you want to test out SpinXpress and join the test group that I set up, send me a note with the email address you used to register at SpinXpress. Email me: michael [at] michaelverdi [dot] com

When I add you to the group, you'll see "ACM Test Group" show up in the list of groups on the left hand side of the application. To share a file with everyone in the group, just drag it to the file pane. If you want, go to the settings tab and turn on automatic downloading and you'll get everything added to the group.

You can also access the group and it's files from the web interface here: http://www.spinxpress.com/Verdi/ACM_Test_Group
